2026 Event Details
For Our City Day is an annual event that brings volunteers and residents together to build community and instill neighborhood pride. We revitalize an entire neighborhood in just ONE day. Projects include painting homes, spreading gravel, basic front yard maintenance, cleaning alleys and more. This program assists in the revitalization and preservation of Chandler neighborhoods. The event serves traditional neighborhoods on the brink of decline and is coordinated by Neighborhood Programs staff with assistance from the For Our City Day Planning Committee comprised of community partners and City staff.
The neighborhood we will be serving this year will be Tradition East Neighborhood

Sponsorship Opportunities
We are looking for sponsorships to provide gravel, paint, paint supplies, plants, food for volunteers, and the necessary tools to complete projects for all our program recipients. As we celebrate 15 years of making an impact through For Our City Day, we will end with a huge celebration in the neighborhood park. Where we will have free activities, food, resources, job fair and more for the community to enjoy. After projects are completed, volunteers, residents, and community members are invited to attend the culminating celebration. It will be a day to remember, and your sponsorship will make all the difference.

Volunteer Opportunities
We cannot accomplish an event like this without our valuable volunteers! This volunteer opportunity is ideal for individuals, families, and groups of any size. Join a project or sign up to lead one!
Volunteer Opportunities March 21, 2026!
Want to have a booth at the neighborhood celebration?
For Our City Day will culminate with a celebration in the neighborhood park. For the second year, we will be incorporating a job fair! We will have space for 15 Job Fair Booths and 15 Informational Booths. If your business/organization is one of this year's "Street Sponsors" for $2000 or more, you are eligible for a booth at no charge.
For the first 20 booth participants, FOC will provide 1 table and 2 chairs. Feel free to bring your own table, chairs, and pop-up canopy for your booth. The deadline for booth registration is March 6, 2026. .
